Aerial Filming Ireland is insured by O’Loughlin Insurance Group, Ireland.
We are insured to operate in Ireland, UK & mainland Europe.
Public Liability Insurance is costly in such a specialised market and in some cases may prove prohibitive. It is, however, a legal requirement when applying for a license to fly a UAV and when applying for permits to fly in any location. If you come into contact with a drone operator who does not have public liability insurance then they are not licensed by the IAA.
Aerial Filming Ireland also carry equipment insurance. However, this does not extend to third party equipment. If you intend to use a camera that does not belong to AFI, you must ensure your production insurance covers payload (camera) for aerial use.
